AGE OF MAJORITY

The age one reaches adulthood in the eyes of the law.  In most cases, after reaching the age of majority, parents may stop making child support payments.  An individual is permitted to vote, make a valid will, enter into binding contract, enlist in the armed forces and sometimes also purchase alcohol once reaching the age of majority.
