ANNULMENT




A judicial declaration that dissolves a marriage as though it never existed.  Annulments are rare since most states offer a no-fault divorce.  Reasons that an annulment may be granted in most states include:  misrepresentation, concealment, misunderstanding and refusal to consummate the marriage.
