IRRECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES



Differences between spouses that are considered sufficiently severe to make married life together basically impossible.  In some states that offer no-fault divorce, irreconcilable differences is the accepted ground. 

Courts will seldom inquire as to what the differences actually are and grand a divorce as long as one party says the marriage is irretrievable and refuses to reconcile.
